The permanent, resin-coated finish requires no touch-ups, rust-proofing or application of any preservatives. Other than the occasional cleaning, it takes care of itself and your belongings.

Designed with lockable handles that are attached with anti-tamper bolts, the Yardmaster metal garden shed provides secure storage on your property throughout the year. A free anchor kit is also included to secure it firmly to any kind of surface.

The Castleton Shed is made from hot-dipped galvanised steel with a dark grey coated finish with a 15 year anti-rust guarantee.

Shed Base Options for YardMaster Metal Sheds

All YardMaster Metal  Sheds are advised to be Installed on a hard standing surface base area. We offer either a metal foundation kit or a timber floor kit to aid with installation onto a stable surface. A damp proof membrane (plastic sheet material) should be placed prior to installing your shed/base to limit condensation.

Note: Only one foundation/floor kit below can be used, they are not designed to be both used together.

1. Existing Concrete Base

All sheds should  be anchored to a flat and level concrete surface with a damp proof membrane (not supplied).
All sheds must be anchored to the concrete base. Anchor Screws are available to purchase at an additional charge.

2. Timber Floor Option

A YardMaster Timber Floor Kit consists of a plywood timber baseframe and pre-cut boards. The base frame is placed on top of the damp proof membrane (not supplied). The boards then complete the base, also providing a timber floor for the shed. A YardMaster Timber Floor Kit can be supplied at an additional charge when you take out installation only!

Timber Floors are NOT available for customers who don’t take out our installation service.

3. Metal Foundation Grid

A Metal Foundation Kit is a steel grid which is placed on top of the damp proof membrane (not supplied). The grid can then be filled with concrete or covered with suitable plywood (not supplied).  The Metal Foundation Kit can be supplied at an additional charge.
