A secure and sturdy place for storage, the SafeTrade 7’x6′ KDC+ Heavy Duty Metal Storage Container – Anthracite Grey is an ideal choice for domestic, industrial or business use. Whatever you store inside: tools, gardening equipment or machinery will be well protected. An integrated gutter system also channels incoming rainwater and, if required, allows for collection. We are, in fact, so confident that KDC stores will last far longer than an average shed, that we have placed a 10 year guarantee against main bodywork and structure corrosion on all models.
The durable locking system offers extra security to ensure the safe keeping of goods. The Portable Storage Container also includes an integrated gutter system. This is for channelling and collecting rainwater. Twin UK Locksmiths Association approved door locks. These include spare keys as a standard option.
There are 8 integrated carry handles located at the base of the container. These enable easy transportation on foot. The Storage Containers have optional steel linking kits. This is so that two or more units can link together. This enables the expansion of your storage capacity. KDC (Knock Down Construction) makes assembly and site storage simple, without the need for specialist tools. The Storage Containers have a built-in ventilation panel. This panel eliminates condensation and dampness. All storage containers include heavy-duty OSB wooden flooring.
All KDC+ stores are, as standard, supplied with twin (top and bottom) door locks that are both anti-snap and anti-pick. In fact, the included locks are officially approved by UK Locksmiths Association, meaning not only a high level of protection against theft, but also reduced insurance premiums when storing valuable contents. A spare set of keys is also included with each store.
The beauty of our KDC (Knock Down Construction) solution is that the storage container can be assembled and disassembled as often as required. Thanks to the integrated forklift pockets, easy-carry handles and lifting eyes, it’s also incredibly easy to lift and transport around your premises with a crane, a regular forklift, or even on foot (self-weight only).
As standard, all KDC+ stores are delivered flat-packed and can be positioned in your desired location free of charge using our on-board forklift truck (please select the appropriate offload option when ordering to take advantage). The assembled store can still be easily lifted and manoeuvred, thanks to built-in forklift pockets and lifting eyes, making it a truly portable storage solution.
The container will arrive flat packed and will be offloaded by the drivers forklift.

SHED BASE REQUIREMENTS
The container will need to sit on a flat and strong surface.
Professional Installations are available. Prices shown are for installation of the unit upon an existing base. We recommend that all Solmha storage conatiner units are situated on a firm, flat, level base. Ideally this should be 50mm concrete or on flagstones.
No electrical work will be carried out by our installers. If you require an electrical supply or mounting plate you will need to contact a professional electrician.
DO measure out the dimensions of your store in advance to find an optimal position for it.
DO choose level and firm ground that’s easily accessible for the delivery truck.
DO use a compacted hardcore, slabbed or concrete base to raise it off the ground. These units are not designed to be built on grass lawns, soil, tarmac or anyt other surfaces.
DO position your KDC Store away from large trees to avoid leaves blocking the gutters.
DO think about which way the doors are going to face and if there is adequate space when they’re opened.
