FEATURES INCLUDE
Every door and window has a 5-point locking mechanism for added security
The roof of each log cabin uses an innovative EPDM rubber roofing system which has a 50-year life expectancy. This also includes a gutter edge drip plate to allow rainwater to run off every side of the cabin
Our cabin is under 2.5m to the ridge of the building – under the threshold of most planning permission restrictions. We use 145mm roof purlins to ensure the strength and rigidity of the log cabin isn’t compromised
The walls of the log cabin use 44mm thick high grade Scandinavian Timber. The floors and roofs use tongue and groove boards and tanalised timber bearers are provided to lift the log cabin further off the ground to protect the flooring
Features such as external sills on all windows and an aluminium low threshold sill on the doors are provided to add extra functionality as well as improve the aesthetic of the building. We also include Burford style skirting for the perfect finish
The 44mm interlocking logs are enhanced by our innovative notching system. This allows you to build your log cabin with ease. Detailed instructions, instructional installation videos and all fixings are provided, along with additional telephone and email support if required
Sustainability is very important to us so we only source our timber from suppliers and forests using a thorough and comprehensive appraisal process. We use only timber suppliers who are FSC certified
You can order your log cabin with the doors to the left, doors central, or doors to the right. Please ensure you select this in the buy area at the top of the page when ordering.
WINDOWS & DOOR OPTIONS
IMPORTANT : There is a variation on the number of doors and windows on each unit. Smaller units do contain less windows and doors. Please check the windows and door options tab for details of the combinations available!
BASE REQUIREMENTS
All log cabins must be assembled on a firm and level base to give the cabin a solid foundation and maximise the longevity of the building. Without a firm and level base, you may find that the cabin can drop out of square causing issues with the doors not closing properly or the roof twisting potentially leading to water ingress. The log cabin comes with a floor with pressure treated floor joists but does not come with a firm and level base.
IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION
As standard, delivery will be made using a 26T HIAB vehicle. We will send customers details of this vehicle and the delivery procedure but if there are access problems it is unlikely we will be able to deliver the log cabin on anything smaller. Therefore it is important to advise customers of this when taking an order (we will also advise them again after receiving the order when booking in the delivery).
Delivery is free to mainland UK. However, a number of post codes may come with an extended lead time. These post codes include AB, DD, EX, FK, IV, KW, KY, PA, PL, PH, SA, TQ, TR.
If we are unable to deliver a log cabin due to access issues not advised or if the customer is not in when we attempt to delivery, re-delivery charges may apply.
